How texting works

Signing up is optional. The box above is an unchecked checkbox by default, and leaving it unchecked never affects your booking or registration.

When you register for a stay you can select Send SMS Code to get a one-time verification code. Requesting a code is separate from choosing other stay-related texts and does not sign you up for them.

If you text the host first from a number not yet linked to a registered guest, we may reply to you in that conversation. A direct reply does not subscribe you to ongoing stay texts.

Reply STOP to any text to opt out; it takes effect immediately and we send one confirmation. Reply HELP for help.

Separate noise-monitoring alerts: if the property uses a noise monitor, its provider may text or call you from its own number, and those alerts are not part of this program.
